The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona, in the Clínic Campus, will host until the 30th June 2022 the exhibition “Nurses in memory: the invisible strength of a profession”, which reviews the history of nursing from the early XIII century until the creation of the nursing degree in 1977.

The exhibition is organised by the Official College of Nurses of Barcelona, the Nursing Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Barcelona, the Hospital Clínic and the Febe (Association for the History of Nursing) It is also collaborating in the initiative the Council of Nurses’ Associations of Catalonia.

The exhibition claims the technical, historical and artistic heritage, both material and immaterial, of nurses through textual and iconography documents, as well as objects that have been part of the professional practice of nurses throughout history.
